Chris Harrison, Alex Hastings and I showed up at the docks bright and early to get the sponsor decals on the gondola. It was a lot of work doing it with the boat still in the water, but it sure looks good. Next, Chris and I rowed around for a news crew and got a good workout in the process - it was quite windy.Nothing gives a gondolier a workout like fighting the wind.
We got the cameraman on the gondola for a while. I haven't seen the footage yet, but I've heard that he got some great video.
At the end of the day we loaded the gondola onto her trailer and we'll take off for Houston tomorrow. Wish me luck - it's a lnog trailer and an even longer drive.
