While rowing a sandolo last weekend, Nereo shot this photo from along the canale di San Secondo. It's still winter in the Veneto, and from the right vantage point, you can see snow covered mountains on a clear day.

update:
Nereo has informed me that the mountains in the shot are actually not the Dolomites, but rather the "Prealpi Venete" (the mountains that are before the Alps)
