It's time for another forum here on the Gondola Blog. (everybody say "yay!")
John Kerschbaum and I have been talking for a while about stretching exercises that can help with Venetian rowing.
As Valentine's Day approaches, so does John's annual visit to Southern California - to hang with friends and row cruises.
John has some credentials in both Yoga and Tai Chi, so I asked him a while back if there were some moves he could come up with to help prepare those muscles for the unique movements associated with rowing a gondola or other Venetian boat.
When John is here for V-Day we'll see if we can't throw up a few video-posts with rowing in mind.
So here's where YOU come in:
I talked with John today and he said "after you row, where does it hurt?"
This is for posterity my friends, so speak up.
Experience-based input is the key.

Left shoulder, from not bring the oar back with my right hand.
Hindu squats are supposed to be useful for the legs and torso. For arms I have no idea?

Well, as long as it doesn't hurt in the pocket, the show must go on!
