I took my first paying passengers on the "Lucia" this afternoon.Everything went great. The tide was just low enough to make it under all bridges. There was some wind waiting out there for me, but nothing that I couldn't either force or finesse through.
The boat cuts through the water so well - evidence of a narrow hull that was hadbuilt by a master some fifty years ago.
My four passengers enjoyed the shading of the canopy, and we all enjoyed the numerous looks we got on such an eye-catching gondola.

Lets have a shot of that Rialto portello.
Unless banned by tradition, I'd recommend optional brighter coloured canopies for customer service.
