Somewhere in the Veneto, Martina caught this nice shot of what I believe is a Herring Gull in flight.
Sure, he was probably working his way through a busy day, crapping on people's boats and fighting with other gulls over food scraps, but he sure did look good in this photo.
I hope he doesn't read my blog, or he'll surely come to Newport and poop on my gondolas.
There seems to be a bird theme today, because Nereo Zane has just posted some nice photos of wild birds in the lagoon on his blog as well.
